Thank you for your interest in competing in The Hopeful Hog BBQ Competition. This event is proudly sanctioned by the South Carolina BBQ Association (SCBA). ensuring a fair and professional competition for all participating cooks.

Proceeds from the Hopeful Hog Festival go directly to supporting adoptive and foster families by helping cover essential expenses. Your participation not only showcases your BBQ skills, but also helps provide love, joy, and opportunity for children and families in need.

We look forward to an incredible day filled with great food, music, fellowship, and fun- and we’re honored to have you be a part of it.

Please return this application as soon as possible, but no later than September 5th, 2026.

Participation is limited to the first 10 teams and a waiting list will be created thereafter. This will occur on a first come/first serve basis. If your entry is not accepted, the entry fee will be refunded.
